Double Booked [M46/F25] [Vacation Romance] [Heated make-out] [Grinding to orgasm] [Sweet over Spicy]

A corporate scandal took a wrecking ball to my firm, leaving me out of work with little hope to change it. I wasn’t involved, but that didn’t matter to prospective employers. The other firms were mad enough at our rather-niche domain being in every headline.

My wife said she “needed some space” and took the kids with her. I knew divorce papers were only a matter of time. I couldn’t blame her though–she deserved the smoke even less than I did.

Cashing out my sunk investments, I rented this villa in the tropics to get away from so much wreckage. A quiet place to merely exist for a while, I thought, but the only things I’ve found are annoyance, and… her.

“You won’t mind me at all,” she said when we realized our villas were side-by-side, sharing not only a wall, but the entire back patio and pool. She was half my age and came here on the heels of a divorce, but her motive for being here seemed more celebratory than mine.

I might not have minded, if not for her presence reasserting itself every time I managed to forget about it. Every morning, I’d wake up to the chirp of her coffee maker through the wall. The sound of her shower running. Her doorbell. A poolside massage that, while quiet, could be witnessed from every single room in my villa and never failed to draw my eye.

But today, she was alone out there. Her back was to me, but she saw me and waved through the open window. Insistently.

“No massage today?” I said, doing my best to sound merely uninterested rather than annoyed.

“Canceled.”

“Ah.” My mistake was lingering too long in the window opening, which she took as an invitation not only to continue, but to intrude.

“Would you be so kind?” She wiggled the bottle of lotion in the air. “I want to lay out, but I can’t get my back.”

“Yeah, give me a minute,” I said with a sigh.

Her request should have been enticing. An objectively attractive woman was asking me to rub her down. We were both effectively single and had the privacy of the villa. A younger, still-whole version of myself would have jumped through the window at the chance.

Instead, all I could see was a spot for her at the end of a long line of people I’ve disappointed recently. And that will deflate any desire before it has a chance.

When I stepped out, she looked dismayed. “No, no, that won’t do. Don’t you have any trunks? Sandals? It’s a pool! I’ll fix you a cocktail while you change.”

She wasn’t wrong for pushing. I’d chosen a villa with a pool for a reason and I hadn’t yet stepped foot out there. Likewise, I hadn’t really given her a fair chance. I’d held every little annoyance against her until they built her up to be some kind of pest.

When I stepped back out, she greeted me with a smile over her shoulder and I realized her arm was the only thing blocking her breasts from my view. “Thank you, by the way.”

“For…”

“Showing up to save my day,” she chirped matter-of-factly.

“Bit dramatic, don’t you think?” I rubbed a dollop of lotion between my palms and pressed them to her shoulderblades. Her back rose and fell with a heavy sigh. “The day has barely started.”

“It’s off to a better start than I’ve had all week,” she said as my hands continued down her spine.

“Your morning massages haven’t been to your liking?”

“They’ve been fine.”

“Hmm,” I said, my hands widening on her back, barely starting to reach her sides.

She chuckled under her breath. “Don’t judge me?”

“I’m an unemployable, soon-to-be-single man at his wit’s end trying to avoid a full-blown mid-life crisis. My judgment isn’t worth anything. I think you’re safe.”

“I came here thinking I’d get pampered all day, go out every night to party and have fun. I thought things here would be crazy, that I’d enjoy being wild and free, but it’s all fleeting. Lonely like back home.”

My hands crested her shoulders, her neck. “Ahhh… everywhere you go, there you are.

She shivered.

“Even this…” Another sigh. “A desperate ploy for male attention I didn’t have to pay for. That I hoped I wouldn’t regret. And I still had to ask for it.”

“Ah.”

It was an interesting twist. I didn’t really know how to feel, much less how to respond. The silence was heavy, but not uncomfortable. Being in the sun felt like it was already changing my mood. This place wasn’t so bad and–seemingly–neither was she.

“I think I’ve got you covered,” I finally said, grabbing a towel to wipe off my hands.

“Always disappointingly short-lived,” she laughed.

“I wouldn’t want to let this cocktail go to waste. Any longer and it’ll sweat itself right off the table.” Taking a sip, I recoiled. “Oh, that’s not what I expected at all, but it’s delicious.”

“Glad you like it,” she said, reaching for her top but pausing. “Do you mind?”

“Oh! Of course!” I stammered, looking away.

“No,” she laughed. “I mean… it’s just us…

“Oh… if you– if I’m–”

She didn’t let me finish. She turned around and settled into her seat, looking right at me as she reached for her drink. To say I felt undeserving would be an understatement. I didn’t belong in a space with a woman like her. Maybe with another zero at the end of my previous net worth, I could have pulled it off, but…

this…

just…

Whew! I couldn’t form a coherent thought. It wasn’t even sexual–that drive seemed to be long-dead for me. Yet, I found myself unable to stop looking as I sat down and autopiloted through smalltalk. The lukewarm water in the shower. The quality of rum they’d stocked in our rooms. The parrots keeping watch for us.

The nearby shore, the taqueria down the way, the club she went to the other night.

“We should go,” she said. “Tonight.”

I must have agreed, utterly failing to ask for any semblance of elaboration. I didn’t stop reeling until I was in my room trying to pick out clothes. What does someone wear for such an evening? The only clubs I knew featured tennis or golf–usually both. So I dressed for that.

I realized my mistake when I saw her. Hair done up in curls. Bronzy eyes. Shiny red lips and tall wedges to match. A skin-tight white dress that hid nothing, which I assessed was precisely what she wore underneath it. My plain linen shirt and khaki shorts were absurd. I was bad at this.

She admirably held back a giggle as she took me by the arm and led me down the street.

Dinner was about where we’d been, leaving our sad stories on the table with the empty wrappers.

The club was about being present in the moment.

We were alone on the patio-turned-dancefloor, as far as I was concerned. Her presence consumed my entire awareness. We existed in the tiniest of spaces. Together, having a conversation with only our bodies, telling each other what we needed, what we desired.

My hands moved from her waist to her hips, holding her closer, flattening her curves against me. My mouth on her neck, lips and breath tickling a trail of fine hairs. Nibbling her ear around an audacious silver hoop.

My hand in hers, she took off across the patio and led us down an alley. She fell back against a flaking mural, pulling me with her. Her hand brought my lips to hers as she wrapped her leg around mine. A fever broke out between us. Too much sun, too many cocktails, too much humidity and sweat in the club.

Her hips grinding against me, she kissed me with a passion I hadn’t felt in years. I met her in that mood, squeezing her ass with one hand and her breast with the other. My pulse raced in my ears, silencing the noise of the street, the music trailing from the club. Every nerve was captivated by her.

A whistle carried down the alley, breaking our fit with a laugh before she towed me deeper between the buildings. Every few feet, she turned and pulled me close to kiss me again, before we continued on our way. It wasn’t the way we came, but I didn’t care–I was chasing her. I’d go anywhere in that moment.

Another wall at her back, more kisses. Her thighs wrapped around my hips with her ass in my hands. I could feel her excitement soaking through my shorts–or maybe it was my own–it didn’t matter. She tipped her head back, eyes directing me up the wall. I gave her a boost and she disappeared over it, her heels clattering on the other side.

I felt cleared-eyed for the briefest of moments. Adrenaline surged in my chest. I jumped, grabbing a hold on the top of the wall, slowly willing myself up and over. I was shocked I’d made it, only then realizing where I was–the back of our villas, by our pool.

And she was waiting on the lounge chair for me. Stripped nude, glowing in the soft patio light.

I hopped across the concrete, leaving shoes and socks and shorts along the way, down to only boxer briefs by the time I reached her chair. I slid them down too, the first time I’d done so with intent in longer than I could remember. My cock sprang out, eager to leave “maintenance” territory we’d been stuck in.

I dropped to my knees, intending to crawl and kiss my way up her body like she deserved. I’d barely tasted the sweat on her thighs before she lifted my head by the hair and said, “I need you inside me.” The urgency showed on her face in a pouting almost-frown with fire in her eyes.

I couldn’t have refused if I wanted to. And I was far from considering such a notion.

Sliding between her thighs, our lips replayed the moments in the alley, her legs wrapping me all the same. The feeling of entering her nearly undid me but I pressed on, closing our hips and grinding to buy myself time to reset. She whimpered against my lips, our tongues sliding over each other. My hands held her hip and cradled her side below her bust.

Our eyes paused on each other, a little scared, vulnerable, but no less needy. Her hips pushed up, adding pressure to my weight. My hand slid between us, over her belly, just above a precisely-trimmed line of hair; more pressure still.

Her breathing picked up, growing ragged. Her eyebrows peaked in the middle, looking like they’d disappear off the top of her head if things got any more intense. Then she shattered.

Shaking moans, gasps for breath, eyes pressed tight. Her back arched sharply, her hips rolling with it, body clenching. Between the tightness and the angle, I felt trapped between being pushed out or being wrung out inside her, thankful the confusion had steeled my composure.

She looked nearly in tears as her arms wrapped my shoulders to pull me tight. “I just need a minute,” her voice said on the thinnest of breaths.

“It’s fine. Take your time,” I tried to reassure her. And myself, wondering if I’d gone too fast, done too much–if I was just… bad.

In time, her breath returned. Her words again in my ear, “I’m sorry. A lot of emotion hit me all at once.”

“I could say the same,” I whispered back. “It’s been quite a night. I can leave you to your room.”

She laughed. “No, no, that won’t do. You’re coming with and you’re actually going to fuck me.”

I woke up to the chirp of her coffee maker. It was so much louder without the wall in between. Her shower was already going. The doorbell rang and the masseur didn’t take kindly to such a late cancellation. Luckily, I had a little cash in my pocket from the night before to settle the argument.

She was wrapped in a towel, sitting on the bed by the time I returned. “Sorry about that. I guess I got swept up in our date and forgot to call them.”

I handed her a cup of coffee and sat down next to her. I nodded toward the pile of sex toys on the nightstand. “Is that what I’ve been hearing all week?”

“Most of it– Well, some of it,” she said, burying her face in my shoulder. “Most of it. Sorry.”

“About which part? The most or the rest?” I teased.

“Yes,” she said, blushing. “Not last night though. That was all you.”

She pushed me down and straddled my waist, smiling as she leaned forward to kiss me. “It’s a shame we waited so long. My flight is tomorrow night. I’m all yours until then though, assuming–”

“Can you change it?” I interrupted.

“Probably. The villa though…”

I gestured to the shared wall, grinning. “I’m here for another week.”

She looked confused, but maybe she was being kind to my feelings and letting me rethink what I was saying. I pressed ahead. I didn’t need assumptions. I knew what I needed from that remaining time. It had only been hours and I was already aching to be inside her again. And it wasn’t only that. Simply, she felt like freedom and hope. Like… life.

“How am I going to wake up in the morning if I don’t hear your coffee maker? Or your shower. What’s going to get me out to that pool, if not your morning massage? What’s going to keep me up all night but your noises?”

“I– I–” she stammered.

“Stay with me,” I said earnestly–pleadingly–holding her face in my hands. “Please?”
